Challenge, Day 3.
What band/musician is most important to you?
Professor Green, aka Stephen Paul Manderson. The rapper from Hackney. This man is the reason why i believe if you want something hard enough and you work hard for it, you eventually get it. Alot of people judge him for many reasons, from where he grew up, to the tattoos he has, but Stephen really is a case of ‘don’t judge a book by its cover’. He is a well spoken, well mannered polite, well dressed young lad with insane talent. I could sit here all day listening to his albums over and over again. I admire him the most for how brave he is, for writing such deep and personal songs about his past and sharing with the world his weakest points. There is alot i can relate to in his music, alot of his lyrics really hit home with me. I was lucky enough to meet him after his gig in November, though there wasn’t alot of time to have a chat, he happily stopped and got a quick photo before he set off for his long journey to the next city. I love how he says it how it is and i love the time he does have for his fans! Before i keep on going on about how brilliant he is, yet i am fully aware even the nicest people have their flaws, if you haven’t already, give him a chance, you might realise that you too can relate to him and his music. Im team green and always will be and im very excited to see what he brings out next!
ps. i forgot to mention, he is one of the most gorgeous lads i have ever set eyes on ;)
Challenge, Day 2.
What is your stance on religion? would you affiliate yourself with any?
Anyone who knows me knows that i do not believe in any religion nor do i like having other peoples shoved in my face. I respect that other people believe in whatever they believe in, each to their own and all that, but for me, i just think its all one massive farce. I refuse to believe in something that apart from a few words in a book has been proven. Scientists have proven how the earth was formed and a man standing there wishing things to appear over the course of a week certainly was not in their reports. I also think that if there was actually a god, why on earth would he make nice innocent people suffer from cancer and other nasty diseases whilst we have rapists and peadophiles living ‘healthy’ lives?! If he does exsist, he is one very cruel man. Im not one to voice my opinion to anyone about it, but as asked this is why i have. Which brings me onto the subject of preachers. I can not stand it when people from whichever religion stop me/knock on my door and try and tell me what to believe. Its my opinion just like they have theirs, i mean its not like i run upto the god squad and start telling them not to believe in it is it?! At the end of the day, if this world is going to end, there will be no warning and no religion/belief will save you, so why waste your time living a lie?
ps. i also do not believe in the devil, father christmas, the tooth fairy, the easter bunny or the birthday man.
Can’t wait for Monday.
Its very rare you ever see anyone begging for Monday morning to come as quickly as possible, but if you have been working non stop since wednesday and still have 16 hours left to do before having a well deserved two day break, you would feel the same. Knackered is an understatement. A full day of sleep is awaiting me and i can’t wait!
If I lay here,Snow Patrol.
If I just lay here,
Would you lie with me and just forget the world? «3
We probably have the biggest love/hate relationship going. She is the biggest bitch on the earth at times, but i would kill anyone who upset her.
